My Approach to ADHD
Using body-centered techniques, dance/movement therapy, and insights from neuroscience, we’ll explore how you uniquely experience the world and create personalized strategies aligned with your natural rhythms. First, we’ll identify and challenge the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back—all those years of messages telling you you’re lazy, careless, or not trying hard enough. Then we’ll dive into understanding the science behind your unique brain wiring, dispelling misconceptions and helping you appreciate how your ADHD brain can actually help you navigate the world more effectively. Your body holds essential information about your experience that traditional talk therapy misses. Through our three-phase approach—learn, experiment, and integrate—you’ll develop a toolkit of strategies that work with your nervous system, not against it. You’ll learn mindful focus, build resilience, and finally stop fighting yourself.
